1. Masjid Al Noor Islamic Summer Camp from July 6th – July 29th has started. Because we have fewer children from last year, we are able to provide more quality one-on-one time with each child. This week the children were memorizing surah Al-Mulk with proper Tajweed and also learning its meaning. They were also taught about the concepts of friendship, thankfulness and sharing through various games and short stories. Thursday field trip took them to the bowling alley and everyone had lots of fun. Many thanks to all the volunteers and parents who made this possible and we look forward to see you all next week.
2. Masjid Al Ikhlas, Newburgh is holding a fundraiser on July 10th and Imam Siraj Wahhaj will be the guest speaker. Everyone is requested to join our brothers in Masjid Al-Ikhlas and participate in the event to make it successful.
